These special bevelled pressing boards are clamped e.g. in a double-screw edge-gilding press for gilding book block edges. Thanks to the conical shape of the plated, the product to be gilded is pressed very strongly in the upper area. Strong pressing is the main requirement for clean edge-gilding.

Application: 2 boards are required for pressing.
